The International Conference on Multimedia Retrieval (ICMR) is the premier scientific conference for multimedia retrieval worldwide. ICMR brings together researchers and practitioners to present original research, exchange ideas between academia and industry, host complementary events like workshops and panels, and facilitate networking among delegates. Join us in Amsterdam for cutting-edge research in multimedia information retrieval, including image, video, audio, and multimodal content analysis, search, and recommendation.

This year's conference will feature hybrid participation options, allowing attendees to join both in-person and virtually from anywhere in the world. While ACM ICMR 2026 will be broadcast online for registered participants, the conference will primarily be an onsite event. In particular, presenting authors of all oral presentations are expected to attend the conference on location. Posters will be presented in hybrid onsite/online sessions, so virtual poster presentations will be possible.
